2012 Fall Summit

FS-ISAC 2012 Fall Summit

The last twelve months have been especially demanding, with numerous information security threats to the financial services sector. This intimate event is your opportunity to make new connections, build trust relationships with our members, and formulate strategies to combat these challenges.

Security threats are continuing to escalate as activists, terrorists, cyber criminals, and others are getting bolder and more sophisticated. The number, frequency, and visibility of recent data breaches is only the latest example.

This summit provides a critically important ingredient in defending our financial infrastructure - coming together as an industry, including representatives from our key government agencies, to share ideas and strategies for understanding the threats and how to defend against them.

The Fall Summit has a forward-thinking agenda built around cyber-security and IT risk trends and issues. Some of the topics from last year's summit include:

  •      Risk mitigation strategies to combat the latest hacktivist, cybercriminal and nation-
         state attacks
  •      Governance, risk & regulatory compliance
  •      Advanced Persistent Threat
  •     Cloud computing
  •     Information data sprawl and securing the plethora of mobile devices that your
        organization and customers are demanding
  •     Plugging the data leaks

Message from Conference Chair

“Effectiveness in our ability to communicate and share vital information quickly, has helped to ensure we protect our respective company's infrastructure. That communal exchange of key information helps us to better understand and defend against the constant and adapting threats that face us all.

Come join us at the 2012 FS-ISAC Fall Summit at the Lansdowne Resort and Conference Center in Leesburg, VA and take part in sharing information with your peers at the leading financial institutions in the country to discuss challenges, solutions, and how our industry can continue to work together to mitigate the latest threats.
